P. Andrew Torrez Joins Zuckerman Spaeder's Baltimore Office

Zuckerman Spaeder LLP today announced that P. Andrew Torrez has joined the firm's Baltimore office. His practice will concentrate on commercial litigation. A published author and debate coach, Torrez brings unique insight to the legal practice. Before entering private practice, Torrez was a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence F. Rodowsky, Court of Appeals of Maryland.

He is the author of Off Base: New Insights Into An Old Game (Woodford Press, 1999), a book that challenges conventional wisdom about the game of baseball and offers new analytical methods. He has been profiled in a number of legal publications, including The National Law Journal and The Washington Lawyer.

Torrez received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from George Washington University in 1994 and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1997, where he was Solicitations Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In his free time, he helps coach the Catonsville High School debate team, providing instruction in public speaking and philosophy.
