An associate in Zuckerman Spaeder LLP’s New York office, Elena ‎Steiger Reich represents clients in ‎a variety of civil and criminal matters.

Prior to joining Zuckerman Spaeder, Ms. Steiger Reich served as a clerk for the Honorable Mary A. McLaughlin of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before graduating from law school she was a summer associate at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, DC. Ms. Steiger Reich also previously served as an intern in the Office of the New York Attorney General and as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Before attending law school, Ms. Steiger Reich worked in a number of human rights advocacy positions, including at Pathfinder International and Human Rights First.

Ms. Steiger Reich graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, magna cum laude, as a member of the Order of the Coif; she also served as senior editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. She received her B.A. from Duke University, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
