Logan Smith focuses his practice on securities litigation, white collar criminal defense, and civil litigation. He has worked on matters including class action lawsuits alleging securities fraud, securities arbitration proceedings, and government investigations. In his pro bono work, he has worked for nonprofit organizations dedicated to the interests of pediatric patients by defending federal regulations that improve the number of drug treatment options available to children.

Before joining Zuckerman Spaeder, he practiced civil litigation as an Associate at Covington & Burling from 2000-2002 and was a law clerk to the Honorable Ellen Segal Huvelle in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 2002.

While at Harvard Law School, Mr. Smith was an oralist and brief writer for the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and a line editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation. He received a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship to attend the University of Edinburgh for a master’s degree in Social and Political Theory. At Duke University, he was a recipient of the R. Taylor Cole Prize for "Outstanding Graduating Major in Political Science."
