Mr. Sottile is an experienced trial lawyer and civil litigator who has tried cases involving insurance coverage, professional malpractice, securities and other commercial fraud, lender liability, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of fiduciary duty. He advises on and litigates major asbestos insurance coverage matters for the London Insurance Market. Mr. Sottile has extensive experience in mass tort litigation, including asbestos litigation, and related insurance coverage issues - including the creation and administration of bankruptcy trusts, the use of class action vehicles for mass settlements, and corporate veil piercing litigation.

He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center where he teaches securities litigation. Mr. Sottile is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.S. 1982) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., magna cum laude, 1985) where he was an Associate Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. Mr. Sottile is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bars.
