Walter J. Taché focuses his practice on complex civil litigation in federal and state court. His clients include foreign governments, financial institutions, and health care providers. He counsels multinational financial institutions in matters involving fraud, lender liability, securities and negotiable instruments, letters of credit, and electronic funds transfers. Mr. Taché has also represented clients in matters involving the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, as amended by the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996. Mr. Taché has represented health care providers in actions concerning health care fraud and abuse, including claims involving the Federal False Claims Act and its state law equivalent.

Before joining Zuckerman Spaeder in 1997, Mr. Taché was an associate with Gilbride, Heller & Brown, P.A., a litigation boutique in Miami. Mr. Taché’s practice at that time concentrated on professional malpractice matters, as well as First Amendment matters involving freedom of religion.
