Stephen J. Bronis concentrates his practice on complex litigation, including health care fraud, financial fraud, business fraud, federal program fraud, securities fraud and regulatory fraud, and abuse cases. Mr. Bronis has represented individuals in SEC enforcement proceedings pertaining to a variety of businesses regulated by the Commission. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S.Tax Court.
Before entering private practice, he served as Chief of the Felony Division of the Dade County Public Defenders Office. In 1998, he was nominated to become a justice of the Florida Supreme Court and currently serves on the Florida Supreme Court's Commission on Professionalism. Mr. Bronis is profiled in Who's Who In America and has been regularly listed among the leading attorneys in the United States and Florida in such publications as The Best Lawyers In America, Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and The South Florida Legal Guide.
Mr. Bronis has published and lectured extensively on various complex litigation and white collar crime topics to the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and many others.
