Norman Eisen focuses his practice on complex civil and criminal litigation and has represented clients in a range of matters, including securities fraud, business torts, breach of contract, antitrust, and bankruptcy litigation. His clients in civil litigation have included the Government of Mexico, National Broadcasting Company (NBC), Goldman Sachs & Co., International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Columbia/HCA, and the Oneida Indian Nation.

Mr. Eisen also has wide experience in investigative matters. He has represented corporations and individuals in federal and state criminal investigations and at trial. Police and other government agencies have retained Mr. Eisen to conduct internal investigations and provide legal counsel relating to both civil and criminal matters.

Mr. Eisen regularly litigates matters relating to the conduct of attorneys, accountants, and other professionals. He represented the Bar Counsel of the State of New Mexico in litigation concerning her application of the rules governing legal practice. He has also served as a special advisor to the American Bar Association on matters relating to professional conduct and has addressed the U.S. Conference of Chief Justices and published on that subject.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Eisen served from 1985 to 1988 as the Assistant Director of the Anti-Defamation League's Pacific Southwest Region. His responsibilities included investigating hate crimes and other civil rights violations. In that capacity, he worked closely with police, government officials, and corporate leaders throughout Southern California. Mr. Eisen has continued to litigate in this area and maintains a busy pro bono practice. Mr. Eisen is also active in community affairs. In 1998, he founded the Kids Computer Workshop, a DC non-profit that uses technology to excite at-risk kids about learning.
