Mr. Himeles has achieved equally significant victories on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases. He represented a nationally prominent attorney in litigation concerning the sharing of a fee exceeding $100 million and obtained a ground-breaking appellate decision. He has successfully represented health care institutions, government contractors, a multinational telecommunications company, a major aviation company, technology companies and professionals in complex commercial litigation. A number of his clients have been beneficiaries of trusts and estates and others in disputes regarding entitlement to trust assets, expatriation of trusts, and other trust-estate-related matters.
Before joining Zuckerman Spaeder, Mr. Himeles was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Baltimore; he specialized in white collar prosecution and served as a law clerk for Hon Francis D. Murnaghan, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Himeles was selected by his peers as one of the best lawyers in the country in criminal law and business litigation and is listed in the 2003-2004 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
