Thomas G. Macauley's practice focuses primarily on representation of debtors, creditors and purchasers in Chapter 11 reorganizations. He appears regularly before the Bankruptcy and District Courts in the District of Delaware.
Before law school, Mr. Macauley worked for three years in New York as a shipbroker, where he represented international traders of bulk and liquid commodities. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to Judge John M. Duhe, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. After his clerkship ended, he joined the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in its Wilmington, Delaware office. In 2000, he left the firm to open Zuckerman Spaeder's Wilmington office.
Mr. Macauley is a member of the Delaware Bar Association, the Business Section of the American Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
