ZUCKERMAN SPAEDER NAMED TOP FIVE LITIGATION BOUTIQUE BY THE AMERICAN LAWYER
Steven Salky joined Zuckerman Spaeder in 1984, where he represents clients in civil and white collar criminal litigation. He currently represents executives of public companies in securities fraud investigations and parallel civil litigations. He has extensive experience representing executives of pharmaceutical companies in FDA and health care fraud investigations, as well as clients facing environmental and antitrust investigations. He regularly represents professionals, including lawyers, doctors, and accountants in litigation involving their compliance with professional obligations.
Mr. Salky has extensive trial experience. While in law school he was awarded the Harlan Fiske Stone prize for the best oralist in Yale Law School's Moot Court Competition. After graduating from law school, Mr. Salky clerked for then Chief Judge Theodore R. Newman, Jr., of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, before beginning a two-year teaching fellowship at the Georgetown University Law Center. As the Stuart Stiller Fellow at Georgetown's Criminal Justice Clinic, he represented indigent criminal defendants and supervised third-year law students in court.
Mr. Salky has spoken, written, and appeared as a commentator on various legal subjects. In his spare time, Mr. Salky is an avid whitewater canoeist.
