Carole J. Yanofsky represents clients in civil and white collar criminal litigation. She also works with clients on issues involving government ethics and compliance matters and she counsels lawyers and law firms on legal ethics requirements. She currently represents a senior executive of a quasi-public company in administrative investigations and parallel civil litigation; she is defending two government officials in the Indian Trust Fund litigation contempt proceedings; she represents a corporation facing a Department of Justice investigation and compliance audit under the Foreign Agents Registration Act; and she defended a senior executive of a family-owned business in a complex False Claims Act matter. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Yanofsky served as the Executive Editor for the American University Law Review, and is the author of "Withrow v. Williams: The Supreme Court's Surprising Refusal to Stone Miranda," 44 American University Law Review 323 (1994). Following law school, she clerked for the Hon. Henry H. Kennedy, Jr., Superior Court for the District of Columbia from 1995-1996.

Before law school, Ms. Yanofsky was a professional flautist in New York City.
