Steven Wisotsky is a veteran litigator, having tried hundreds of cases in state and federal court, both at trial and on appeal. As Special Counsel to the firm, his practice focuses on civil and criminal appeals, including extraordinary writs, discretionary review and habeas corpus. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits; and the Trial Bar for the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

A tenured professor of law at Nova Southeastern University since 1980, Mr. Wisotsky teaches courses in appellate and pre-trial practice, white collar crimes, criminal procedure, civil RICO. and constitutional law. He is a frequent lecturer for legal organizations, including the AFTL, FACDL, and the Florida Bar. He is also the author of Professional Judgment on Appeal, which has been described by a reviewer as "excellent" and "sparkling" (HBA Appellate Practice Journal).
