Before entering private practice, Mr. Torrez was a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence F. Rodowsky, Court of Appeals of Maryland. He is the author of Off Base: New Insights Into An Old Game, (Woodford Press, 1999), a book that challenges conventional wisdom about the game of baseball. He has been profiled in a number of legal publications, including The National Law Journal and The Washington Lawyer. During law school, Mr. Torrez served as solicitations editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
