Adam Rosman focuses his practice on white collar criminal litigation and complex civil litigation. Since joining Zuckerman Spaeder, his experience has included accounting, securities, anti-trust and administrative-enforcement litigation.
Before joining Zuckerman Spaeder, Mr. Rosman served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia from 1996 — 2003, where he represented the United States in a wide range of matters in both local and federal court systems of the District of Columbia. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Mr. Rosman prosecuted and conducted grand jury investigations into matters involving organized crime, homicide, federal narcotics conspiracy and fraud. He prosecuted more than 25 jury trials in the local and federal courts in the District of Columbia and briefed and argued numerous appeals before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
In 2000-2001, Mr. Rosman was Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Staff Secretary at The White House. From 1995 — 1996, he was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Gladys Kessler, U.S. District Judge in Washington, DC. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches trial practice, and he has lectured on direct examination, witness reparation and e-evidence as part of the DC Bar's Continuing Legal Education program. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Federal Criminal Practice (James Publishing, forthcoming 2004).
In 1987, Mr. Rosman graduated from Union College, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an B.A. in Political Science. He also studied at the London School of Economics and Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. He earned his law degree from Stanford Law School in 1995, where he was an articles editor on the Stanford Law Review.
