Margarita K. O’Donnell Morales


Margarita K. O’Donnell Morales is an associate in Zuckerman Spaeder’s Washington, DC, office.

Prior to joining the firm, Maggie was a trial attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. In that capacity, she represented hundreds of felony and misdemeanor clients and tried multiple cases.

Maggie clerked for the Hon. Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Hon. Louis H. Pollak of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

During law school, Maggie worked as a teaching assistant for two classes—constitutional law and lawyering—and as a law clerk for several public defender offices. She also served as the Community Outreach Chair for the Latino Law Students Association and as a student advocate at the Unemployment Action Center.

Maggie was also a legal intern at the Comité para la Defensa de la Salud, Ética y los Derechos Humanos in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she worked on human rights issues.
