Susan Dudley Klaff represents organizations and individuals in cases involving white collar matters, legal ethics, and complex civil litigation. As an associate in Zuckerman Spaeder LLP’s Washington, DC office Ms. Klaff has assisted in the representation of clients in matters before state and federal courts. She also has experience representing lawyers facing malpractice allegations in bar committee proceedings.
In 2006 Ms. Klaff co-wrote an amicus brief in support of two cases before the Supreme Court involving challenges to the voluntary efforts of school districts to achieve and maintain diversity in the schools within their districts. For this work the firm received the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council's 2007 Distinguished Pro Bono Achievement Award.
Prior to joining Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, Ms. Klaff clerked for the Honorable Leonie M. Brinkema of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She also served as an judicial intern for the Honorable James Robertson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Before attending law school, Ms. Klaff taught in the Arlington County Public Schools and worked in the education consulting field.

Represented a former Delaware public official who was indicted for racketeering and multiple counts of mail and wire fraud.
