Press Release

The Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) has elected Zuckerman Spaeder LLP partner and firm chair Caroline Judge Mehta to its board of directors, where she will help advance the national organization’s mission of supporting women attorneys practicing in white collar criminal defense, government enforcement, and investigations.

Ms. Mehta has been actively engaged with WWCDA throughout her time in private practice, long admiring and supporting the organization’s efforts to champion women in the white collar defense bar. Her appointment to the board positions her to further deepen her involvement and leadership within the association.

“The WWCDA has been a significant presence throughout my career, offering community and a space to learn from some of the most talented and respected white collar practitioners across the globe,” Ms. Mehta said. “I am honored and inspired to offer the same support for others as they establish their own legal careers in this space.”

WWCDA is widely regarded as a leading professional organization for women in white collar defense and related fields, offering national and regional programming, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Ms. Mehta began her career as an associate at Zuckerman Spaeder and served more than 20 years with the firm before assuming the role of chair in January 2025. She is also a former co-chair of the American Bar Association National Institute on White Collar Crime. Ms. Mehta represents individuals and businesses in high-stakes criminal, regulatory, and administrative investigations, as well as in complex criminal cases.
