DC Partner Eleanor H. Smith Co-authors the Legal Manual, Litigation Under the Federal Open Government Laws

Eleanor H. Smith, a partner in our Washington office, is a contributing author of the newly released Litigation Under the Federal Open Government Laws, 2002. Published by EPIC Publications in cooperation with Access Reports and The James Madison Project, this manual is the standard reference work covering all aspects of the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act, the Government in the Sunshine Act, and the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Smith has litigated numerous open government cases, dealt with many agencies and advisory committees regarding access to information, and has counseled clients and trained other attorneys on information access and protection.
