Peter R. Kolker and Steven N. Herman Successfully Defend Client in ERISA Action

Zuckerman Spaeder attorneys Peter R. Kolker and Steven N. Herman successfully defended an individual in an ERISA action in which a paid pension plan administrator was charged with breach of fiduciary duty and faced multi-million dollar claims. The culmination of this contentious three-year litigation was a bench trial before Judge Peter Messitte in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland. Judge Messitte granted the defense motion for judgment as a matter of law exonerating our client of all liability. The case was Plasterers Local Union No. 96 Pension Plan v. Harold Perry, et al (Case No. PJM 06 CV 338).
