Zuckerman Spaeder Celebrates Relocation of Washington, DC Office

Zuckerman Spaeder LLP is pleased to announce the relocation of its Washington, DC office to 2100 L Street NW. As of March 17, 2025, the firm will occupy two newly constructed, custom-designed floors in one of the District of Columbia’s newest, award-winning developments.
The building, which received LEED Core and Shell Platinum Certifications, seamlessly blends the history of the landmarked Thaddeus Stevens School with a modern, state-of-the-art construction. In addition to the firm’s new office and meeting spaces, 2100 L Street features the Drew Gallery with rotating exhibitions by local artists, a pocket park, an expansive rooftop terrace, and a captivating architectural sculpture known as “The Veil,” designed by acclaimed artist Jan Hendrix.
“This relocation marks an important inflection point for our firm. After nearly 50 years in practice, we have grown and evolved,” said firm chair Caroline Judge Mehta. “Our offices at 1800 M Street served us well for the last two decades, and this move represents a step into the future for our firm. I am truly so excited to gather our attorneys and professional staff at 2100 L. The time is now for a new, modern, beautiful space where we can all be in daily contact. In designing the space, we focused on enhanced, technology-enabled opportunities for collaboration to support the cohesive culture we’re known for. Personally, I am thrilled to be in such proximity to the bright young students attending the Thaddeus Stevens School. It brings me great joy to hear their voices echo from the playground between our buildings.”
Since the firm’s founding, Zuckerman Spaeder has cultivated deep roots in the nation’s capital while serving as trusted outside counsel in matters ranging from complex litigation, white collar defense, government investigations, health care litigation, to professional ethics matters. Throughout this time, the firm has grown and evolved to meet the needs of its client base in a dynamic legal environment.
The transition to this new space reaffirms Zuckerman Spaeder’s commitment to the city, as well as its enduring dedication to the pursuit of excellence, efficiency, technological advancement, teamwork, and the highest levels of client service.
The firm’s Chief Operating and Financial Officer Colin Burdick states, “Zuckerman Spaeder’s warm, collaborative culture is reflected in every square inch of our new space. We are confident that this beautiful, streamlined space will enable our attorneys and professional staff to continue delivering exceptional legal services into our next half century."
