Zuckerman Spaeder has been named to Vault’s inaugural Best Midsize Firms in D.C. list. Vault ranked Zuckerman Spaeder No. 4 in the D.C. midsize category, in addition to ranking its litigation practice No. 17 nationally earlier this spring, and including the firm in the 2026 Top 150 Under 150 list.
Vault’s rankings are based on proprietary survey data collected from verified legal industry employees. Each year, Vault surveys thousands of law professionals and ranks the top law firms in prestige, culture, career development, job satisfaction, quality of life, and overall best places to work.
The 2026 Vault Best Midsize Firms and practice rankings were based on a survey of more than 20,000 associates from over 200 firms. To determine each category of rankings, associates were asked to vote for up to three firms they consider strongest in the respective category and were not permitted to vote for their own firms. The Top 150 Under 150 was curated by Vault’s editorial team after extensive research, complementing survey results.
