Alyssa Howard is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Zuckerman Spaeder, where represents clients in a wide range of matters, including plaintiff- and defense-side complex civil commercial disputes and government investigations. Alyssa also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Before joining the firm, she was a law clerk to Chief Judge James K. Bredar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She previously worked at an international law firm in D.C.

- Represents patients and providers in putative class action cases against health insurance companies over reimbursement policies under ERISA.
- Represents hospitals and trade associations in judicial challenges related to the 340B drug discount program.
- Represents a French company and CEO in a civil dispute and parallel DOJ investigation involving alleged false representations in the context of the sale of a company and various government certifications.
- Represented U.S. legal permanent resident from Jamaica pro bono in civil suit seeking damages and injunctive and declaratory relief against Florida county sheriff’s office that unlawfully detained him.
