Michael Pardoe is an associate in the Baltimore office of Zuckerman Spaeder. 

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy E. Meredith of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He was also a law clerk in the Maryland Office of the Attorney General in the Health Occupations Prosecution & Litigation Division.

While in law school, Michael was an active participant in the Health Law Regulatory & Compliance Competition, in which he took first place in 2017. He was also a student mentor at Paul’s Place, Inc., where he worked with local middle school students to provide assistance with homework and engage them in educationally stimulating activities.

Representative matters
  • Led a pro bono effort that resulted in a district court swiftly granting compassionate release for a terminally-ill cancer patient in a federal prison.
  • Represents a national pharmacy chain in defense of thousands of suits by state and local governments to recover costs alleged to  have been caused by the shipment and dispensing of prescription opioids. 
  • Defended two former CFOs of a publicly traded company in SEC and DOJ investigations relating to the company’s accounting practices. 
  • Prosecuted derivative claims against a publicly traded broadcast company’s officers and directors for permitting related-party transactions which doomed a merger with a media conglomerate.
