Tyler Swafford is an associate in the Washington, DC office of Zuckerman Spaeder. 

Before joining the firm, Tyler was an associate at a global law firm, where he represented clients in complex commercial litigation and criminal matters. He also represented clients in government investigations.

He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph H. McKinley, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

Tyler graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was senior editor of the American Criminal Law Review. During law school, he was awarded “Best Oralist” in the national round of the 2020 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He also interned in the Criminal Fraud and Criminal Appellate sections of the DOJ.
