Military Lending Act Class Action

Are you an active duty service member or recent veteran (or a spouse of a military member or veteran), who used a tax preparation service?

If so, your rights under the Military Lending Act may have been violated. To learn more, review the following questions:

1.    Did you pay for your tax preparation fees by having them deducted from your tax refund?
2.    Did you get an advance on your refund?
3.    Are you facing delays and confusion about how the IRS will disburse your CARES stimulus funds because your money is being sent to a bank account that you do not have access to?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then your tax provider may have caused you to enter into a contract for a financial product that violates your legal rights. The Military Lending Act provides active service members and their families with important protections against predatory financial products.

Zuckerman Spaeder is a highly-regarded national law firm, and we are pursuing legal action to protect you from possible violations by H&R Block and other tax preparation companies.
