DC Appleseed Center for Law and Justice honored Zuckerman Spaeder with its 2016 Pro Bono Award for its advocacy to make quality child care accessible to more very young children throughout the District of Columbia.

Most recently, Zuckerman Spaeder contributed to the 2016 report issued by DC Appleseed and the DC Fiscal Policy Institute, entitled “Solid Footing: Reinforcing the Early Care and Education Economy for Infants and Toddlers.” This report addresses the costs and challenges of operating a high-quality child development center for infants and toddlers in the nation’s capital.

DC Appleseed presented the award to Zuckerman Spaeder during its 2016 program “Building a Better D.C. for All,” on September 22, 2016, at the Arena Stage.
