Alyssa M. Howard is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Zuckerman Spaeder.

Before joining the firm, she was a law clerk to Chief Judge James K. Bredar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She previously worked at an international law firm in D.C.


Alyssa graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a student attorney for the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Project Clinic, representing indigent juvenile clients in felony, misdemeanor, and resentencing cases. Alyssa was a recipient of the Thomas R. Mulroy Prize for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy for her participation in the Edward W. Hinton Moot Court Competition. She was also a member of the Education and Child Advocacy Society and the Public Interest Law Society.
