Brown was a panelist at the 5th Annual "Defending the White Collar Case—In and Out of Court" Meeting, co-sponsored by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Fordham Law School's Stein Center for Law and Ethics. Mr. Brown spoke in the session "Cyberspace—The Back Hole Where Ethics, Strategy, and Technology Collide," which addressed issues such as the use of technology by prosecutors and defense counsel, document retention policies, and 4th Amendment considerations.
